Another fun filled day full of band today. It started bright and early, 9:00am in a comfortable 20ish degree heat. We had an okay, yelling filled rehearsal in the morning, and an awesome performance in the afternoon. I'd go into the details, but I am waiting for the Facebook/YouTube video to surface and I'll post it here.
Afterwords, I went to Tim Hortons and grabbed an ice cap and Morgan bought chicken snack wrap type Tim Horton things, which the lady took FOREVER to make. Honestly, twenty minutes to make them is not fucking acceptable.
Movement I went off without a hitch I thought, we really need to work on the 26 then 22 count follow the leader. It is brutally hard and there are a lot of collisions still. Movement II is sweet, Larry is going to get my orange flight control traffic sticks to direct the trumpets moving the props, haha. Also, I definitely lumberjacked after the trumpet solo. Go me. III is coming along, it is really passionate and emotional, and I can't wait to bring it to Kerkrade, people are going to eat it up. Movement IV is by far my favorite. The drill is intense, the music is fast and impressive, the crowd went nuts at the end. Also, at the final chord I hit a wicked dubba G and stuck it for like two seconds after the cut off. Tara heard me, haha.
Anyways, thats all for now. Morgan may or may not come over tonight, we are going to watch some TV and do something that doesn't require energy.
My mom is calling me for dinner, my Grandmother is over, I love her.

drag me to HELL
Today was a great day! I had so much fun, you had no idea. Okay, rehearsal in 30 degree weather with minimal water breaks and sunscreen to shield my inner ginger was maybe not the best bet, but overall we got a lot accomplished.
After rehearsal Morgan, her Mom and I drove around on the highways, making sure we can make the trip to Drumheller alright (which we can, she is a great driver!). We had some Dave's Pizza and this awesome Greek salad for dinner, and the best ice cream for dessert. I managed to get the mint chocolate chip to spill onto my nice polo, leaving a nasty green stain in the middle of a nice yellow. I hope Tide will get that bitch out.
Also, today, Elena and I decided that the trumpet shirts would be sweet if they just said Bitches on them. Bitches. Bitchez. Bitches. I prefer the "es" ending over the lame(er) "ez." I think Elena agrees.
Afterwords, Morgan and I went to see "Drag Me To Hell." It was one of those in your face, pop up, surprise horror flicks. Dylan, I can't wait until we go see this, it was wicked. Has the same amount of intensity as Blair Witch (don't ever stand in a corner ever sir).
Short blog post tonight, I don't really have anything to report.
Also, AnHEYelina Heyolie is a fox. Ha ha ha ha ha.

don't ever let trainee's steam your stampede hat. holy fuck.
I realized I had no blog post yesterday, some plan this is of me writing about my everyday life here. Regardless, I will continue to *try to post as much as I can, as often as I can. Okay. Good.
Today, I took Brad to Toys R(backwards) Us, so that he could get a job, make good cash monies, and then eventually get me sweet bitchin' discounts on misc. crap and video games. Life will be grand. Afterwords, I surprised Morgan with lunch at the Farmers Market, and she helped me pick some BEAUTIFUL flowers for my mom, (her birthday is on Monday, I love her), and she loved them!
Now for the main (I lied, this is not the main reason for the post) reason of this post. I needed to get my Stampede cowboy hat steamed since the back was all fucked up since I got it at the start this year, so I decided to call Brad and get his Sombrero back into a cowboy hat as well. I got the Camry, it is a very nice car. Jonathan is the soloist in the Bands of Calgary 2004-2005 CD for Come Sail Away (it rocked my world). A trainee tried to steam the hat like a normal cowboy hat, and it got fucked up more. The manager had to come over and show her how to do the hat like the Stampede ones. Ugh, now my hat has a bunch of finger marks and straight lines on it. It sucks. Though, it does have slightly more shape then before, which is a very minor positive.
I finished watching the first season of The Office. Pam is a fox. Jim is sad. Michael is... well, simply, Michael.
I have to wake up at seven so I can get ready for band tomorrow morning, so this is where I will sign out for the night.
Cheers, Andrew.
ps. Friends on.

delicious. pt.2
So I told myself I would not resort to double, triple, or quadruple posting in a day, but there are some things that need to be said. I met a very cute girl at the oolong tea house today. We shared many awkward smiles. That was not the main reason for this post.
For two people to be so close, a foot apart feels like a mile. I do agree with you however, that is the most comfy part of the couch to snooze on.
C'est la vie.

I haven't decided if I am going to publish this blog or not, or give out the address or not to people in "secret" hopes they read it and have a little more insight to my life, so I could just be writing to myself. This is entirely fine by me.
I really don't know what to write. Part of me has volumes of thoughts and feelings I need to express, and the other part of me wants to continue to keep it bottled up. Weird.
Jon is going to go out for BD next year. He will get in for sure. We made a pact back in Round-Up that we would do corps together, but there is no way that I am going to get in BD, solely on the entire marching ability aspect of it. I don't suck, but I am by no means the best. I hate feeling mediocre at what I do, it kills me inside.
Big Noise from Winnetka. (Jon, yeah broski).
I guess since the theme of this first post is all about marching bands and the like, I'll keep within character. I was apporached a couple of rehearsals ago about how someone in the section felt when we started playing high. Immediately after I felt horrible, but at the same time, it is what Jay asked us to do. Ugh, mixed feelings.
On a different note, Morgan called me this morning asking me to take her phone to Telus to get it fixed, the screen was glitching. I went, and they looked at me dumbfounded, and probably are talking about the glitchy phone right now. They ordered her a new one, and are going to call me in 4-7 buisness days when it arrives. I am really glad that she and I are so close. She is eaisly one of the closest friends I have, probably number two. (I actually don't number my friends based on how close we are, but she is really something special).
I guess this is where the first post ends. Hopefully I will continue posting (daily, if I can), though I doubt anyone will read this.
